How has this setup or strategy been tested?
How is the track record presented?
03 — Context & Structure
Which market condition is this setup designed for?
Is position sizing guidance included?
e.g. % of account, fixed lot size, or risk per trade in dollar/% terms
Is the reasoning explained, or is it just a conclusion?
"Buy BTC at 62k" is a conclusion. Reasoning explains why — e.g. support level, pattern, macro context.
Is an invalidation condition stated? (i.e. "this idea is wrong if ___")
Different from the stop-loss — this is the logical trigger that means the thesis has broken down.
Red Flag Checks
Does the signal use any of the following language: "guaranteed," "risk-free," "proven results," "100% win rate"?
Does it apply urgency pressure to this specific trade? (e.g. "act now before it's too late," "last chance," "only a few spots")
